Had a Christmas stay here and it was pretty alright. The view from the bedroom was killer, gotta admit. Waking up to that was a treat. The bathroom had these fancy heated floors and even a mirror that didn't fog up. Nice touch, I guess. Plus, the staff were friendly and made us feel welcome. Can't complain about that.
Gotta be honest, there were a couple of downsides to this place. First off, there was nowhere to do laundry.

New, clean & comfortable. Tastefully decorated with all needed amenities. Magnificent views of the lake. Excellent location near restaurants. Delightful owners, easy check-in process.

It had stunning views and location was unbeatable and comfy.
Everything was absolutely modern and the rooms where brand-new and stunning! Loved having electric blankets, no need to ask for them beforehand. Private bathroom, quiet atmosphere. Having a handy kitchenette was fabulous. Walked in 20 minutes to Dark Sky Diner that serves coffee and treats.

I had the most amazing stay at The Quarters Unit 1 in Lake Tekapo! The view from my room was absolutely breathtaking, with the stunning Lake Tekapo right in front of me. The room itself was clean and modern, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. I also loved the hand-painted piece of art that was given to me as a special touch from the owner. The value for money was excellent, and the room was clean and modern. The location was perfect, with stunning views of the lake and close to town. The staff treated us warmly and made us feel welcome throughout our stay.
